CD: Conditioned by Design is a senior thesis created in my final year at FIT. The topic of this project focused on the overusage of typeface Helvetica (and its variations) in the New York City environment and its psychological impact on New Yorkers themselves. Interestingly the book created for this thesis has been divided into three parts inspired by psychology: Conditioning, Habituation, and Dishabituation. Through those three processes inside the book the reader learns to associate symbols with certain words. The following project consists of the thesis book, series of posters, and a video.
